This was released by the former KGIL radio staff as it was the only AM radio station in the San Fernando Valley at the time and some of the iconic radio voices are heard hear.
Listen to the iconic voices as they quickly moved into new mode covering this major disaster. Both KHJ (a music station) and all news KFWB were on top of it.
KHJ was a music station but went all out with it's news department on the morning of the Sylmar quake.
